This past weekend the Slippery Rock Women's Rugby Team attended the annual Cherry Blossom Tournament in Washington D.C. We took first place! Yay us! We played 5 games and were undefeated. The scores from our games are as follows... Sru v UMBC 46-5, Sru v Elon 37-0, Sru v Pitt 15-0, Sru v Navy 14-3, Sru v Hamilton 7-5. Everyone on the team got a chance to play this weekend and I'm sure everyone had a lot of fun. I know I did =]
Wow! I never realized how good you rugby girls really were. That's great that you took first and went undefeated in a big tournament. And as you can tell by the scores of the games it was a well deserving first place. haha Keep it up!
